A Gift for All Seasons & Reasons
This paper began as a small clump of Little Bluestem — gifted to me by the NC Cooperative Extension. I planted it, tended it, and harvested it by hand, then cooked and macerated the fibers in my Little Critter. Each sheet became the foundation for this elephant design. From soil to finished keepsake, every step was shaped with intention and gratitude.
Overview
A handcrafted symbol of wisdom, loyalty, and gentle strength. Inspired by the matriarchal nature of female elephants, this keepsake includes a beautifully printed symbolism card describing their story and meaning.

A Note About Variations
Photos show sample elephants. Each elephant is handmade from my garden-grown Little Bluestem pulp, so natural variations in texture, color, and character will occur. Your piece will be beautifully unique.
Limited Edition
This keepsake is made from a single harvest of Little Bluestem from my garden. The first offering includes eight adult elephants and eight babies. Only 3–4 more small batches can be created before this year’s pulp is gone. A new harvest next fall will begin a second generation — each year’s batch a family of its own.
