Wildflower Seed Plantable Bookmarks
The bookmarks are made with handmade 5×7 paper folded in half, twice the thickness of those made with a 7×2 mould and deckle. The paper was made with abaca (from banana plants), cotton, sparkles (always), and wildflower seeds incorporated. The tassels are 100% cotton. All of the paper is biodegradable. When planting them cut them into pieces, put them in the ground with a covering of dirt, and water daily until they spring through the earth, then water as needed. The edges are deckled as that is the hallmark of papermaking. The imperfections are the perfections. They are delightful to use for oneself or to give as a gift. Each one is unique.
